DHL Public Exhibition
Update on proposals for a new, state-of-the-art logistics hub at the Land to the North of the Bell Plantation
Please be aware that further consultations will take place next week and it is critical that the local community engage with this work, as DHL needs to understand what the community thinks.
In April 2021, DHL held a virtual consultation on their initial proposals for the Land to the North of Bell Plantation, on the edge of Towcester. Local residents, stakeholders and businesses were invited to view and provide feedback on the Proposals. DHL has been analysing the consultation responses and has made amendments to the proposed plans, which respond directly and positively to the feedback from the local community and stakeholders.
To demonstrate how the plans have been progressed and as agreed during the consultation in April 2021, DHL will be hosting a public exhibition to update the community on the work done by DHL, alongside the project team to respond to this feedback.
This will include physical drop-in sessions and virtual engagement as detailed below:
PRE-BOOKED EXHIBITION DROP-IN SESSIONS IN TOWCESTER
Tuesday 14th September 2021: 10.00am - 19.00pm
Towcestrians Sports Club, Greens Norton Road, Towcester, NN12 8AW
Wednesday 15th September 2021: 10.00am - 19.00pm
Sawpits Centre, Towcester, NN12 6FT
These sessions will be on an appointment only basis and can be booked in advance by calling the freephone information line on 0800 298 7040 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. DHL will have COVID-secure measures in place, including the provision of hand sanitiser and face masks.
DHL will also hold a virtual exhibition online to allow those unable to attend the public exhibition drop-in sessions and opportunity t o view and share thought on the proposals. This will take place between Tuesday 14th September 2021 to Tuesday 28th September 2021 on the DHL project website - https://dhl-towcester.consultationonline.co.uk/
